Contact your Senators and Representative by clinking on Take Action link on the top of the page and urge them to:

  • Send a letter to members of congress in support of including a refundable against payroll taxes WOTC Unemployed category and an enhanced Employee Retention Tax Credit in the next COVID-19 relief package. 
  • Co-sponsor H.R. 2213 and S. 978 which would make WOTC permanent.  WOTC is set to expire on December 31, 2020.

2019 UPDATES

Congress Passes a One-Year Extension of WOTC Through December 31, 2020:

> Extends the Indian Employment Credit from January 1, 2018 through December 31, 2020;

> Extends the Empowerment Zone hiring incentive from January 1, 2018 through December 31, 2020;

> Enacts a disaster relief retention credit from January 1, 2018 through December 31, 2020;

> Increases WOTC funding for Fiscal Year 2020 by $2.5 Million.
